Onfleet Payroll Calculation

Introduction

The Onfleet Payroll provides organizations the ability to create payroll rules for drivers, the ability to see the calculated pay on completed tasks, and the ability to edit the calculated pay on a completed task.

Onfleet Payroll Calculation Features

  • Create a Payroll rule for a group of drivers
  • Payroll will be calculated after a task is completed
  • Payroll will be written to two custom fields on the task
  • Payroll data can be edited by dashboard users
  • Payroll data (in custom fields) will be included in Export task data


Creating and Editing a Payroll Rule

Navigate to the Onfleet Marketplace

Navigate to the Payroll Marketplace Card and Select the Activate button

Configure a Pay Rule by selecting the + sign to create a rule

Creating a Pay Rule allows you to choose the rule to be applied on:

Task Type:

  • Pickup tasks (only)
  • Dropoff tasks (only)
  • Pickup and Dropoff tasks

Task Completed status:

  • Successful tasks (only)
  • Failed tasks (only)
  • Successful and Failed tasks

Drivers:

  • Choose a driver 
  • Note - a driver can be in only one rule at a time.  

Rate Modifiers - choose 1, 2, and/or 3 of the modifiers

  • Flat Rate
  • Time-based
  • Distance-based 

Save the Configuration 

Save and review the payroll configuration

Navigate to the Integrations marketplace

Select Manage

Edit your Pay rule

Select the Pay Rule to edit

Select the edit button to edit the rule

Save and Review

Save and Connect

Payroll Data

Pay Data is calculated for completed tasks that meet the pay rule (success/failure and/or pickup/dropoff). When the distance and duration calculations are completed, the pay will be written to the task in two custom fields.

The Custom Fields can be viewed in the Settings -> Custom Fields
