In this article, you will learn about the task and/or order view in your Driver Mobile App.
Note: Some of the information listed in this article may not appear in your view, as these are controlled and enabled by your organization.
This article will cover:
Task ID & Order ID
When an Organization creates a task at Onfleet, Onfleet creates a unique ID for each task. The task id allows the Driver and Dispatcher to communicate about the task.
When Couriers import orders to Onfleet, an Onfleet Order ID is created for the associated pick-up and drop-off tasks; the Order ID associates the two orders together.
Task Type
Tasks are designated as "Pick Up" or "Drop Off". This will assist you in understanding if you will need to receive an order or deliver an order.
Linked tasks are a set of tasks with a specified order that should be completed by a single driver, sequentially. If you are trying to start a task out of it's sequential order, you will note the number of prerequisites required to be completed before the task.
Recipient Name & Location
Tasks will sometimes have a recipient name and always a location.
A recipient is an organization’s customer and a target for a task, that is, to whom the task is being delivered.
Notes
Tasks can have notes, these are notes your organization places for the recipient or location to note any specific requests or instructions.
You may also be required to add any completion notes to your task before you can complete a task.
Custom Fields
Your organization can add custom fields to tasks to provide additional information regarding a task, recipient, or additional instructions.
