Jane

In this article, you will learn about the Onfleet and Jane integration (aka Jane Technologies, Inc).

This article will cover:

Jane

Jane (Jane Technologies, Inc) is a leading online Cannabis eCommerce retailer. Jane's integration with Onfleet allows for retailers to dispatch deliveries to drivers and track delivery progress in real-time.

This integration supports Onfleet task creation, proof of delivery, driver tracking, custom metadata, driver management, and support for custom containers and this is a two-way integration.

Workflow

The workflow for the Onfleet + Jane integration is as follows:

  1. Customers will make an online delivery order either via the I Heart Jane app or via an e-commerce site utilizing Jane Technologies, Inc in its e-commerce management. The user's order page will update accordingly with Onfleet's updates (task assigned, driver out for delivery, task completed, etc).
  2. The order will populate within the Onfleet dashboard with the customer details, address, and task details (order, quantity, etc).
  3. The dispatcher or admin will then assign the order to a driver, and the driver will complete the task delivery.

Jane Technologies and Onfleet both provide notifications to recipients, however, users can work with Jane Technologies to suppress Jane Technologies communications at any point within the task delivery.

Troubleshooting

If you are running into any errors with your Onfleet integrations please feel free to reach out to the Onfleet Support Team at support@onfleet.com. We strongly recommend reaching out to the I Heart Jane's support team as well, since some issues may be originating on the partner's end and Onfleet is unable to view activity on third-party integrations.

Usually, the most common causes of errors may be due to location and task completion times. Since Onfleet uses Google Maps API to geocode all task locations, we recommend you cross-reference your task address in Google Maps to ensure the location information is correct and in the correct format.

Task completion times must be in the future, and tasks that are past-dated are, unfortunately, unable to be created or completed within the Onfleet integrations.
