Zapier Templates

In this article, you will learn how to use Zapier templates for your client account to automate processes.

Shopify Template

When a new Paid order is created in Shopify, an order is created in the Onfleet Client Portal.

Prerequisites: A Shopify, Zapier and an Onfleet account are required. 

Step-by-Step Setup:

Copy the Template: Navigate to the link with the template and click “Try it out”. The template will open in your Zapier account.

Configuring the Shopify Trigger: Connect your Shopify account.

Preparing to Test: Click continue.

Testing the Connection: Click on the “Test” section to validate the connection. Choose the Shopify order record that you want to test the integration with and then click “Continue with the selected record.” This will allow you to map the needed fields from Shopify.

Beginning the Onfleet Configuration: Choose “Continue” to begin the Onfleet Account Configuration process.

Configuring the Onfleet Account: Click “Sign in” to begin connecting your Onfleet account.

Adding the Client Portal API key: Enter your Onfleet Client Portal API key.

Beginning the Order Fields Configuration: Choose “Continue” to begin the Onfleet Order field configuration process.

Configuring Order Pickup Fields:

    1. Recipient: Choose whether or not the Order Pickup has a recipient 
    2. Destination: Configure the address where the order will be picked up.

Configuring Order Dropoff Fields:

Dropoff Recipient Name: Choose the “Customer First Name” and the “Customer Last Name” field from the Shopify trigger.

Dropoff Recipient Phone: Choose the “Shipping Address Phone” field from the Shopify trigger.

Dropoff Address Line 1: Choose the “Shipping Address Line 1” field from the Shopify trigger.

Dropoff Address City: Choose the “Shipping Address City” field from the Shopify trigger. 

Dropoff Address State: Choose the “Shipping Address Province” field from the Shopify trigger. 

Dropoff Address Country: Choose the “Shipping Address Country” field from the Shopify trigger. 

Test the Connection: Click the “Test Step” button. You should now see a new order created in the Client Portal with the correct details.

 

Publish your Zap: Click “Publish”. Your Zap is now live! When a new Paid Order is created in Shopify, an order will be created in your Onfleet Client Portal.

Square Template

When a new Paid order is created in Square, an order is created in the Onfleet Client Portal.

Prerequisites: A Shopify, Zapier and an Onfleet account are required. 

Step-by-Step Setup:
  1. Copy the Template: Navigate to the link with the template and click “Try it out”. The template will open in your Zapier account.

Configuring the Square Trigger: Connect your Square account.

Preparing to Test: Click continue.

Configuring the Trigger: Choose the location for your business and the order status. Click “Continue”.

Testing the Connection: Click on the “Test trigger” section to validate the connection.

Choosing a Record: Choose the Square order record that you want to test the integration with and then click “Continue with selected record.” This will allow you to map the needed fields from Square.

Beginning the Onfleet Configuration: Choose “Continue” to begin the Onfleet Account Configuration process.

Configuring the Onfleet Account: Click “Sign in” to begin connecting your Onfleet account

Adding the Client Portal API key: Enter your Onfleet Client Portal API key.

Beginning the Order Fields Configuration: Choose “Continue” to begin the Onfleet Order field configuration process.

  3. Dropoff Address Line 1: Choose the “Fulfillments Details Recipient Address Line 1” field from the Square trigger.
  4. Dropoff Address City: Choose the “Fulfillments Shipment Details Recipient Address Locality” field from the Square trigger.
  5. Dropoff Address State: Choose the “Fulfillments Shipment Details Address Administrative District Level 1” field from the Square trigger.
  6. Dropoff Address Country: Choose the “Fulfillments Shipment Details Recipient Address Country” field from the Square trigger.

Confirm the Mapping: Click the “Continue” button.

Test the Connection: Click the “Test Step” button. You should now see a new order created in the Client Portal with the correct details.

Publish your Zap: Click “Publish”. Your Zap is now live! When a New Order is created in Square, an order will be created in your Onfleet Client Portal.
